which ever company hosts your domain can be useful. I purchase my domain and then have it point to my site. You can have it point to another domain, ip address, or page. If you use URL masking then your address bar will always say http://www.yoursite.com.

Example

My main site is www.abc.com

i want to host another site on the same space but with a different domain
www.def.com

I then purchase a seperate domain (or use no-ip.com)

I Create a directory at www.abc.com called def

http://www.abc.com/def will take me there

I configure my new domain to point to http://www.abc.com/def/index.html

I enable url masking so that when you open www.def.com it will always say "http://www.def.com" in the address bar and will be running the page from http://www.abc.com/def

Hi Jessica, Network Solutions has great customer care. Call their tech support and they'll do this for you. Register your domain either with them or GoDaddy first.
